History

Providing equal rights and opportunities to better and quality education for the less privileged, orphans and children with disabilities.

kolawole scholarship foundation was founded in August 2019 with a mandate from God through Pastor and Mrs Samuel Daramola and children who believed that helping the less privileged children is the will of God as recorded in Mark: 9:36-37 “then He put a little child amongst them, taking the child in His arms, He said, anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf, welcomes me’…. and in that light they have been single handedly sponsoring the organization financially through the help of God.
Nature of the organization and system of operations: ‘The organization is a non profit community based organization which focuses on impacting the lives of young people and giving a future and hope to the hopeless especially those who are desperately in need of such opportunities through school fees support, life changing seminars and workshops, career guidance and counselling programs and organizing educative programs that would boost their academical output. The organization is doing everything possible to ensure that less privileged children are able to achieve their God given potentials in Sierra Leone and even beyond.
MOTTO: the motto of the organization is “Help the children”
LOCATION/HEAD OFFICE: The organization shall have it head office at No: 5 Yahumu Street off Becky drive Rokel.

Achievements

# we have succeeded in giving scholarship and school support to a good number of children who fall within the category of less privileged, orphans and children with disabilities.

# We have also succeeded in transforming the lives of our beneficiaries through guidance and counselling programs and life changing seminars.

# We also have succeeded in partnering with parents in bringing up their children through one on one talk with parents and workshops organised for the parents with the aim of helping them in bringing up their kids especially the single parents.
# We have also succeeded in gaining official recognition in becoming a renown charity organisation based in Sierra Leone that aims at transforming the lives of children in need.
# We have also fulfilled all our legal registration and documentation process which warrants us the right to operate as a registered charity organisation that deals with the affairs of children in Sierra Leone and beyond.

Our Team

We are proud to have a dedicated team of passionate individuals committed to making a difference. Our team consists of diverse talents and backgrounds, united by a shared vision of creating positive change in our community and beyond. As the above organization is a non-profit organization and hasn’t got financial donors yet, but only been single handedly financed by the founders /visionaries the workers (staff) are however not on salary as they are presently serving as volunteers but salaries/stipends would be definitely looked into once the organization has other donor partners to support the vision.
